Why everyone loves Bali

Bali is quite beautiful. It is already clear why it is one of the most well-liked travel destinations in the world, and for some people, it will always be. Without a doubt, the phrase "Eternal Summer" exists. Bali is well-known and wonderful as more than just a vacation destination. It draws a lot of tourists and adventurers to Java's neighboring island. Bali is well-known for its beaches, smoothie bowls, and avocado toasts as well as for being the only island in Indonesia where the Hindu religion is still predominately practiced. For some, the information may even be new, however, for others, it may already be common knowledge. We were able to see on our trip to Bali that the people are also incredibly kind and open-hearted.

I can only advise taking a break from the well-known tourist hotspots and overcrowded touristy streets, as well as spending some time outdoors in nature, but caution is always advised. Especially due to the Apes. Here, one should thoroughly inform yourself beforehand! Authentically prepared Indonesian food in locally owned and operated restaurants, mingling occasionally with the populace, and much more. If one is focused, Bali can unquestionably become a unique experience that will only live on in wonderful memories. For us, we've made the decision to visit Bali more than once during our abroad semesters because there are countless hidden gems to discover.

Now, though, to my theory as to why Bali has so many people feel delighted, including ourselves! One could go on and on about the palm trees, nearly year-round summer, delicious food, kind people, and breathtakingly beautiful beaches for relaxing and surfing. Personally, I think there is much more to this than for what the most already know. The inhabitants of this island have a rich history and religion that have persisted for more than 1200 years. What should be noted is that while religious freedom is recognized in Bali, the majority of the local population identify as Hindus to a degree of 90%. 

This religion is known officially as "Agama Hindu Dharma" in Bali. The balinese belief informs the tradition of this religion, yet new influences have led to the development of a new harmonious bali- hinduistic religion. In Balinese religion, belief plays a crucial role. The sky and the ground, the sun and the moon, as well as day and night, are all two separate components of the planet. For the people of Bali, it's vital that both regions get the same amount of attention.

The gods and kings take a great interest in Good and Evil. However, the Balinese place great importance on the contrast between the sea and the mountains. The mountains are sacred, and gods and ghosts of the dead reside there. On the other hand, the sea is the home of evil spirits and dominions.

The inhabitants of Bali strongly believe in supernatural or subhuman powers, and sacrifices are required to satisfy them. So be on the lookout for sacrifices near roads or other locations in and infront buildings and shops. Typically, they are made up of a banana leaf embellished with flowers and precious stones. However, popular offerings include cigarettes, fruits, and other food items. These sacrifices soothe and purify the evil spirits. So observe further sacrifices at Bali's temple celebrations.

If one were to look at it that way, that might be one of the reasons why many Bali lovers keep coming back. Of course, everyone's perception of it might be different. The most important factor for the beautiful "Bali Vibe", would still be the existence of the people who carry this culture and history throughout and add an incredible atmosphere to the already stunning natural surroundings.
